  • Comes with lots of extras

Cons

  • Drain is easily plugged
  • Rather large even packed away

The Final Say: Cabela’s Easy-Set Camper’s Kitchen is a great camping kitchen that makes food prep, cleanup, and storage super easy. This camp kitchen is a great option for those who want a more official setup without bringing lots of extra gear. This kitchen really offers a lot of storage, a workspace, a sink, and even a storage cabinet.

While Cabela’s camp kitchen is great, there are a few downsides. First, the sink drain clogs rather easily, which makes the sink a little frustrating to use. Additionally, the camping kitchen is still rather large, even when folded up. With the larger size, this is not the best option for those tight on space.

Ease of Use

Cabela’s camp kitchen is very easy to use. The setup only takes a minute to figure out your first time but is actually pretty easy. Additionally, once the kitchen is set up, it makes prep and clean-up super easy.

The only part of Cabela’s camping kitchen that is not the easiest to use is the drain. There is an easy valve to use to drain the sink, but the problem is that the valve is so small that it is very easy and quick to plug. The drain will often get plugged with a small amount of food that tries to go through the drain. This then requires you to unscrew the entire drain, which drains the water directly onto the ground beneath the sink.

Size

The size of this kitchen once set up, is really great. It offers multiple workspaces and a decent size sink. When set up, it is roughly 6 feet long and a couple of feet wide. This kitchen offers a lot of space and very quickly gives you a dedicated kitchen area at your campsite.

Durability

Cabela’s Easy-Set Camper’s Kitchen is well made and will last a long time. The legs, joints, hinges, etc., are thinner to reduce weight and storage space but are still strong and durable.

The tabletop and workspaces are made of plastic, so heavy use will eventually begin to show, but they should hold up against normal use for a long time. The sink is made from a heavy PVC material that can hold a good amount of weight and take some heavier usage.

Portability

This is a portable kitchen and is pretty easy to set up and take down. It comes with a storage/carrying case that makes keeping everything together very easy.

When folded down and put away, the kitchen is still pretty large. This would not be a great option for campers who are tight on space or looking for space-saving gear.

Extras

The camping kitchen comes with lots of extras that are very nice to have. It comes with a cutting board, a fabric cabinet for storage, a latern hook, a drying net pouch, multiple utensils, and potholders, as well as an under-table storage net.

Cabela’s camp kitchen really is a great option that comes with lots of extras that any camper will love.
